Manager of Performance Marketing

Terez is seeking a highly talented & entrepreneurial Manager of Performance Marketing to develop, drive, and oversee all paid marketing channels and e-mail marketing to increase new customer acquisition, improve purchase frequency of existing customers, and re-engage dormant customers   

The role reports to the Director of Brand Marketing and requires an innovative individual who naturally thrives in a high energy, fast paced start-up environment.

Core Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and scale our paid digital marketing strategy including but not limited to e-mail, social, SEO/SEM, etc.
  • Utilize customer insights to refine audience segments and improve performance across marketing channels, with the goals of: increasing new customer acquisition, improving purchase frequency, and re-engaging dormant customers
  • Optimize email marketing from end to end: calendar creation, new customer on-boarding, segmentation, and circulation strategies
  • Manage ongoing website conversion funnel optimizations and eliminate friction points
  • Manage all external agency and publisher relationships to progress overall capabilities and marketing strategies through ongoing testing and optimization
  • Partner with Brand Marketing and Creative teams to enhance marketing creative, improve story-telling and drive content-based strategies
  • Clearly and concisely communicate program forecasting, progress, and performance against goals in a cross-functional setting
  • Collaborate to develop best in class loyalty program to increase retention, leveraging data to inform the approach and testing various benefits/rewards to optimize ROI
  • Stay at the forefront of trends in the growth world, maintaining cutting edge knowledge of best practices, innovation and strategies with the goal of increasing traffic, AOV, conversion rate, and improving customer experience across all device types
  • Own and manage digital marketing budget


  • 3+ year’s working experience which will include some combination of acquisition and retention/engagement focus in an B2C E-com business, preferably for an apparel or fitness brand
  • Proven track record of working at the strategic and tactical level to develop and execute innovative CRM initiatives
  • Proficiency in optimizing and executing SEM, PPC as well as Facebook Ads, Twitter Ads, and Display Advertising
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing and user acquisition best practices 

  • Capable of determining key metrics, measuring the success of performance strategies, and translating complex information and data into clear and easily understandable reports
  • Exceptional organizational skills to evaluate and orchestrate large campaigns spanning numerous marketing channels. 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Facebook Business Manager, Google AdWords, Google Analytics, etc.
  • Passionate about digital space and abreast of key trends, benchmarks, and innovations in the industry with the willingness to experiment fast and change paths as needed
